SDR Finds Interference

I recently purchased a new dipole kit from the RTL-SDR blog and while on my way to a job site (I wasn’t driving) I used the new suction cup mount to pin the antenna onto the window and began to look around with my SDR.

Within about 2 minutes a fellow ham noticed the signal I had locked onto. Something with several spurs around 460mhz as you can see below.

This signal has been getting into a the input of a local repeater for some time now and thanks to the trusty SDR and the antenna kit I just happened to stumble on its operating frequency. Now we can see about finding it’s location and hopefully stop the interfering signal.
